Will an AI Automation Course Help? The Order of Your Own Work Comes First

Lately, when I open YouTube, AI automation courses keep coming up. There are plenty of them on blogs too. And I find myself wondering whether these courses really help.

A course is a fixed curriculum in the end

A course is, in practice, following a curriculum that has already been set. The person who made it decided an order, and the person taking it follows that order. But what the AI era calls for is not a curriculum somebody built in advance. It is building an AI that actually fits you.

Even writing an email is different for every person

Take email. People write it in all sorts of ways. People use a calendar in all sorts of ways. The ways people connect email and calendar together are more varied still. So I think this is a hard thing to teach as a general course. What an AI automation course covers is the work of an average person, and that is not my work and not yours.

Two columns: a course is a fixed curriculum set by someone else, while your work is how you write mail, how you use the calendar and how the two connect.
A course, and your work.

You have to change the order of the question

What matters now, more than an AI automation course, is the process of knowing how I actually work. I have said this a few times already.

The question "how do I actually work" comes before the question "I should automate too".

"I should automate too" makes you pick a tool. "How do I actually work" makes you see the order of your own work. AI automation starts after that order becomes visible.

So here is what I want to try

I do not have many subscribers, but if it is useful to you, I am thinking of building an AI that shows you how you work on your own. I plan to make it free to use. You write down how you work, and it tells you which applications you are using in which order, and points out where you could optimise, specifically. The starting point of AI automation is not a list of tools. It is this order.

I will take requests in the comments

This applies to both my Naver blog and LinkedIn. I have not finished building the tool yet, so I cannot hand you a link first. Instead, if you write in the comments how you work, I will put it in order and send it back to you. Where to begin with AI automation, organised around your work rather than around a course syllabus. Before you go looking for an AI automation course, this one thing on its own would be worth doing.

Which apps did you use today, and in what order?
